The Plains, VA (November 17, 2019) - The warmest people at the state championships were the ones wearing the least amount of clothing. As spectators bundled up to stay warm and avoid the biting wind, athletes in minimal shorts and singlets raced around the spectacular Great Meadow course seeking the coveted title of state champion.
Chas Sumser Photography was there to capture the action and emotion and posted a gallery of images from the races. The majority of the photos were taken well away from the crowds for a unique perspective on athletic performance.
